Case Study

Arcadia Global School Performing Arts Facility

The Arcadia Global School Performing Arts Facility was developed as a purpose-built, multi-functional venue designed to support academic, cultural, and community events within a modern educational environment. The development includes a 1,170-seat main auditorium and a 32-seat black box theatre, each engineered to accommodate a wide range of performance formats, from theatrical productions and musical performances to lectures and multimedia presentations.

Oasis Enterprises was appointed under a design-and-build contract, working in close coordination with Godwin Austen Johnson as lead consultant, to deliver a fully integrated, future-ready performance environment. Our scope covered the complete design, engineering, supply, installation, integration, and commissioning of all theatre and performance systems across the facility. Key systems delivered include:

  • A professional-grade audio system with digital audio processing and amplification, engineered for uniform sound coverage and high speech intelligibility, alongside high-resolution projection and display systems
  • Intelligent LED stage lighting with DMX-controlled networks and centralized lighting consoles for flexible, programmable lighting scenes
  • Motorized rigging and hoisting systems for lighting bars, curtains, and stage equipment, designed for safe load handling and precise, programmable positioning
  • Acoustic treatment and sound isolation systems optimized for reverberation control, speech intelligibility, and musical clarity across both performance spaces
  • Performance-grade stage flooring, a fully functional orchestra pit, fire-rated theatre drapery and masking systems, and durable, ergonomic seating
  • A flexible 32-seat black box theatre with independent AV, lighting, and control systems for experimental and small-scale productions
  • A centralized control platform integrating all AV, lighting, and stage systems, with touch-panel interfaces and real-time monitoring for simplified, reliable operation

The design phase was completed within an accelerated six-month timeframe, requiring close coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist systems disciplines. The project was delivered in full alignment with the client’s brief, achieving all technical and functional objectives and providing Arcadia Global School with a professional-grade performing arts facility built for both educational and professional-level productions.

Since handover, the facility has supported the successful launch of the school’s secondary campus, with the client praising the Oasis team’s dedication and the quality of service delivered throughout the project.
