Velodrome Abu Dhabi is a landmark sports infrastructure project located on Hudayriyat Island, designed to position Abu Dhabi as a global destination for elite cycling and international sporting events. This world-class indoor cycling stadium is engineered to host professional competitions, training sessions, and community engagement activities, integrating advanced architectural design with cutting-edge technology to deliver immersive experience for athletes, spectators, and broadcasters alike.

Oasis Enterprises is appointed to design, supply, and integrate a comprehensive suite of audio-visual and communication systems across the facility, engineered to meet the acoustic and operational demands of a large-scale indoor sporting venue. Key systems include:

• Audio-visual solutions for back-of-house control rooms, operations spaces, and support areas, supporting efficient communication, monitoring, and coordination during events and daily operations
• A fully compliant Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) system delivering clear, intelligible announcements and emergency voice evacuation capability
• Advanced broadcasting infrastructure with signal distribution, camera connectivity, and control interfaces to support live event coverage, media production, and global transmission
• A high-performance professional audio system with custom-engineered suspended line array speakers, designed to overcome the acoustic challenges of the velodrome’s expansive volume and reflective surfaces while delivering consistent, high-quality sound for announcements, commentary, and entertainment

The project presents several complex engineering challenges, including precise acoustic modeling to manage echo and sound distortion across the venue’s high-ceiling structure, custom mounting solutions for suspended speaker arrays that meet structural safety standards, and discreet integration of all AV and audio components without compromising the venue’s striking architectural design. All systems are being engineered for scalability and future-readiness, ensuring the Velodrome adapts seamlessly to evolving events and broadcast requirements.
